He was charged on Friday as an adult, with the juvenile office stating there were multiple reasons why Williams-Patrick should be charged as an adult for the murder of Aubrey Doxley on McKee St. back in February of 2022.

Williams-Patrick's lawyer countered, arguing that he had cooperated and was also a victim due to being shot as well.

Two other teens, 16-year-old Samarion Robins and 17-year-old Oscar Ashford Jr., have been certified as adults in the case. The Boone County Prosecutor's Office charged all three with felony counts of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon in Doxley's death.
