Best Black Friday Rowing Machine Sales 2022 - Forbes Vetted

All the most common styles of rowing machines are on sale right now. Basic models simply provide the rowing mechanism, allowing you to exercise at your own pace. Higher-end models use premium options like sealed water tanks for a more authentic rowing experience as well as a large screen to stream shows or follow along with an instructor. Just remember that most of these so-called smart rowers typically have an additional monthly subscription fee for access to online instruction and coaching. No matter which style of rowing machine you’re looking for, here are the best Black Friday deals to help you save big.

Hydrow is one of the top smart rowers on the market, and for Black Friday, the brand is offering $680 in total savings, including $500 off the machine itself, free standard delivery and a free On the Mat accessories kit. This rowing machine is designed to make it feel like you’re actually rowing through water thanks to a patented electromagnetic drag mechanism, and the unit features a 22-inch touchscreen and front-facing speakers. Hydrow membership is $38 per month (or $456 per year), and it gives your whole family access to a library of more than 3,000 workouts.

This Echelon Row offers an impressive 32 levels of magnetic resistance, allowing you to find the perfect intensity levels for your needs. Unlike other rowers that implement a stand for a phone or tablet, Echelon’s Row has a rotating 22-inch HD screen, allowing you to follow along with workouts in the Echelon Fit app (but only if you want to—you can also do self-directed workouts). Membership is $40 per month and includes both live and on-demand classes, but the rower can also be used without it.

The NordicTrack RW900 offers more than just rowing classes thanks to its 22-inch swiveling touchscreen. With the brand’s iFIT app (which costs $39 per month), you’ll get access to on-demand rowing classes, as well as cross-training workouts like full-body sculpting, yoga, HIIT and more. The rower itself supports up to four user profiles and has 26 resistance levels, quick-adjust pedals and Bluetooth audio. Plus, the whole machine folds vertically for easy storage when not in use.

Not sure you have enough space (or cash) for a rower? This no-frills model is ideal for small homes thanks to its space saving design, which folds up vertically for storage in seconds. It even has wheels on the front that make it easy to move around your home. The simple rowing machine offers eight resistance levels, and all your workout statistics are displayed on an LCD screen at the front of the unit. The rower has an ergonomic molded seat and pivoting pedals for comfort, and it’s a great deal at over $50 off this Black Friday.

Ergatta is offering a Black Friday rowing machine sale with savings of $350 when you use code BF500 at checkout, as well as free shipping. This high-end rower stands out from the crowd thanks to its beautiful handcrafted cherry wood construction and unique design which leverages water resistance to scale naturally with your effort. The rower has a 17.3-inch touchscreen display, and it offers content like goal-based training, interval workouts, race workouts and more to get your heart pumping. Of course, a subscription is required to access these workouts, which costs $30 per month for an unlimited number of profiles.

If you’re new to rowing, this budget-friendly machine from Circuit Fitness is a great entry-level model. It has a manual magnetic resistance system and digital display screen that tracks metrics like speed, distance, time and calories burned. In addition, the machine is equipped with an injection-molded seat and foam-covered handlebars for comfort as you exercise. The rower has a folding design, as well as wheels for easier transport, making it easy to store in any home.

The Row HX Trainer uses a fluid-based resistance system to deliver a smooth, natural feel. There’s no screen, which means there are no video classes or coaching built in—but it also means there are no monthly fees to pay. This machine has an attractive wooden base with steel accents and a small digital screen tracks your progress as you work out. The rower offers four resistance levels that can be adjusted with a simple dial, and the unit can be stored vertically to take up less space.

Fitness Reality’s angled water rower receives high marks not only for its easy assembly, quality craftsmanship and adjustable resistance, but also because it’s a great value buy at less than $500. Up to six resistance levels dial in the intensity while three customizable HIIT intervals, five preset workout goals and 13 race options give you opportunities to level up your workouts. A small LCD screen displays important stats, and the rower can support up to 300 pounds.

If you’re looking to pick up a rower without breaking the bank, Yosuda’s entry-level magnetic rower should do the trick. Featuring eight resistance levels and and a 350-pound weight capacity, this rower is built to support casual rowing sessions, hardcore HIIT workouts and every bout of exercise in between. The ultra-quiet motor reduces unwanted noise while an easy-to-read LCD monitor clearly displays your distance, rowing time, count, total count and calories.

Aviron’s Impact Series includes a premium 22-inch rotating touchscreen to adjust your resistance and follow along with workouts. It has speakers and a front-facing camera, and the heart of the machine relies on a dual air and magnetic resistance system that closely mimics the feel of water. When you aren’t rowing, it folds and stands upright to save space.

There’s nothing more annoying than having to stop rowing to tweak the resistance on the main control panel. Sole eliminates that problem by including wireless controls in the handles—you can tweak it without ever slowing down or stopping. The SR550 features a smooth combination air and magnetic resistance system to mimic water, along with a 10.1-inch touch screen and adjustable rail for riders of every height. It also folds easily when the workout is over.
